Chillicothe Booster Club
Mission Statement
The Booster Club was established as a support group to encourage parent and community
participation and to raise funds to enhance and expand the Athletic programs that are
available to each individual student at Chillicothe High School. The Booster Club feels
strongly that parent and community involvement during the high school years can be a key
to the success of the individual student.
Meetings
The Booster Club
meets four times per year in the CHS Commons on the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited!

News & Calendar
In the past, the CHS Booster Club
has purchased new football headsets for the coaches, purchased and installed CHS Hornet
Golf signs at Green Hills
Golf Course, and supplied support to each individual sports banquet.
In July, 2004,
the Booster Club voted to purchase a trailer to be used for
Softball/Baseball to transport and store equipment. Shelving and
storage racks are being built inside. In May, 2005, the trailer was painted with a Hornet design.
February, 2005,
the Club voted to purchase an indoor pitching machine to be used for
baseball and softball, with wiffle type balls and batter pack so it
can be transported and used any location. The Club also voted to apply
up to $4,000 to the weight room for new racks, bars, and weights for
more stations.

Basketball
Moms
Basketball moms
begin meeting in November. Fees are generally collected so that meals
can
be provided for the the away games.
Meals include
8" sub, chips, fruit, and bottled water.
Other plans are
made to set out the basketball signs for home games (JV, V), the
banquet, and Jam the Gym (meal for Marshall cheerleaders). Each class
has a mother volunteer to call other mothers when special events are
held.
