This year the CMS Counseling Program is hosting quarterly parent nights. We have coined our parent nights as NEST Nights (Nurturing & Empowering Students Together). Our first meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 28th at 6 p.m. We are having Pure Freedom, a Kirksville organization, come in to present to parents. The presentation will provide a framework for discussing technology, relationships, and increasing connections between parents and students. This is an opportunity that is open to all families who have 6th graders on up to Seniors. We will have childcare provided by qualified CHS students.

CMS Football will host Bode tomorrow, September 21st. 7th grade will play 1st at 5:00 followed by 8th grade. #HornetsOnTop
Due to excessive heat, today's football games at Bode in St. Joseph, MO have been cancelled. There will be no CMS Football practice today.

CMS Football Parents: Tomorrow's games versus Bode will have the following schedule: 1st game will be the 8th grade versus Bode "A" Team at 5 p.m. 2nd game will be the 7th grade versus Bode "B" Team at approximately 6:30 p.m.
CMS Volleyball: 8th grade will play first tonight followed by 7th grade.
