“Let Your Kind Shine”
Kindness is everywhere at CES! The three recipients of this week's awards were nominated by a teacher or staff member for showing exceptional kindness. They received a sunshine bag and the opportunity to sit in the yellow sunshine chair over the next week to promote kindness throughout CES!
Stetson Cook (Mrs. Hansen’s Kindergarten Class)
Stetson is a kind and thoughtful kindergarten student who always looks out for others. He’s the first to offer a helping hand when a classmate needs it, whether helping to clean up or sharing a toy. His caring nature shines through in all of his actions.
Gabe Leeper (Mrs. Howe’s 2nd grade) is so kind and respectful all the time. He has great manners, and always says, "please" and "thank you". He does whatever task I need him to do with a smile on his face. He loves to be a great helper in the classroom to me or other students. If a student makes a mess or spills something, he is the first to jump up and assist that student. Gabe brings so much sunshine to our class!
Myla Ballard is a fourth grader in Mrs. Dodson’s room.
Myla is a ray of sunshine in our room! She is so kind to all of her classmates, teachers, and even people she may not know in the school! She is always willing to help out when I have a sub in my classroom, and encourages other students to do their best. We are so lucky to have her in our classroom!
Now we know our ABCs! Look who punched their ticket for a wagon ride in kindergarten!
