Everett Shipp has been one of our awesome bus drivers at Chillicothe R-II Schools for 19 years! This year, he is driving a country route and a daily ag shuttle in bus 6.
Although Everett is known around the bus barn as a person who likes to tell a story or two, his reasons for driving a bus for so long with Chillicothe R-II Schools were short and to the point. “I enjoy the flexibility of the schedule, the comparable pay and being around the people I work with everyday,” Everett said.
Dr. Brian Sherrow, Assistant R-II Superintendent, described Everett as a very reliable and skilled driver, who gets along well with the students and other bus drivers. “We’re very glad to have him on staff. We appreciate his dedication to the District,” Sherrow said.
Everett is a retired Post Master of the Trenton Post Office. and a lifetime Livingston County resident. He said that he and his family are strong supporters of Chillicothe R-II Schools.
