Our First Winners! 🏆
We’re thrilled to announce the inaugural recipients of the Greatest Thing Since Sliced Bread Award:
Maddison Book, 1st Grade Teacher
Miss Book’s dedication to her craft and passion for teaching shine in everything she does. Her creative methods, like 'Foamy Phonics Fun,' and lively classroom chants make learning engaging and fun. Loved by students, respected by colleagues, and partnered with parents, she creates a supportive environment where students thrive. Most importantly, her commitment to growing and improving her instruction, paired with her humility and positivity, makes her an exceptional educator.
Korby Ford, 8th Grade Social Studies Teacher
Whether on the basketball court or in the classroom, Korby consistently demonstrates a commitment to fostering meaningful relationships with students. He understands that building rapport is essential for creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. By actively seeking out opportunities to connect with students, Korby not only enhances their academic experience but also promotes their personal growth. His approachable demeanor and genuine interest in their lives encourage students to open up, share their thoughts, and feel valued. This dedication to relationship-building helps to cultivate a strong sense of community, where students feel safe to express themselves and are motivated to succeed both academically and socially.
