Progress continues on the Chillicothe Elementary School expansion project! Today, workers were busy pouring footings for areas A & B. It's so exciting to watch this awesome project take shape!
CHS jazz ensemble will be performing at the Silvermoon Plaza on May 5th starting at 11 a.m. If you are free, come check it out!
Congratulations to Landon Gillespie, Caylee Anderson, and Zoey McQuinn, they are the R.A.K.E. award winners for the past few days. They were identified as doing the following;
Landon Gillespie-Landon let the office know that a student had a flat tire in the parking lot. He took a picture of her license plate and permit number so we could find out who it was and let her know.
Caylee Anderson-After playing an activity in class, someone missed the trash can with their tiny scraps of paper. (They were everywhere). Caylee stuck around after the 8th-hour bell rang to pick up every tiny piece of paper covering the floor around the trash can. Much appreciated!
Zoey McQuinn-Zoey is in my last hour and at the end of the day she offered to turn my string lights and lamps off for me so I didn't have to do it myself. This may seem small to some, but it allowed me to have more time to prepare for the next day, which is big. Thank you, Zoey!
Tomorrow is Decision Day for the Class of 2023! All seniors will be involved during fourth hour and lunch.

A big Thank You to the Chillicothe Rotary for hosting the annual Senior Rotary Luncheon for the Class of 2023 and providing the guest speakers from ThinkFirst Missouri to talk to our students about the dangers of drinking and driving, not wearing a seatbelt, and distracted driving while looking at a cell phone.
