Chillicothe state semifinal vs Perryville will begin at 11:00 am tomorrow , Saturday, instead of 10:00 am. All games for tomorrow have been pushed back one hour to make sure fields dry.

Reminder, the MSHSAA Softball State Championships have been delayed in Springfield due to wet conditions. All class 3 softball games will be played on Saturday according to the schedules. Chillicothe will play its first game vs. Perryville at 10:00 am on Saturday. The MSHSAA class 3 state softball games will begin on Saturday at 10:00 am vs. Perryville due to the weather conditions in Springfield. The third place game for class 3 is scheduled for 2:30 pm on Saturday. The championship game for class 3 is scheduled for 4:00 pm on Saturday. Chillicothe is not schedule to play softball tomorrow in Springfield due to weather conditions. Full MSHSAA update shared in coming post.

Congratulations to Delanie Kieffer, Delanie Clements, Josh Eckert, and Demarcus Kelow, they are R.A.K.E. award winners. They were identified doing the following - Delanie Kieffer -She spent her advisory helping another student get caught up on their work. Delanie Clements-She helped a new student start their work while there was a substitute that day Josh Eckert -A few nights ago we hosted a financial aid night for students and parents. More people showed up than we anticipated and I was attempting to set up more chairs. Without being asked, Josh quickly came to my aid and put out several more chairs. He continued helping even after it was time for the meeting to start. Thank you, Josh! Demarcus Kelow-I was in the library setting up for an event and Demarcus noticed I was moving some heavy boxes. He came over and asked if he could help me. Thanks, Demarcus!

Chillicothe High School Parent-Teacher Conference Information: Reminder to all parents from the school calendar, parent-teacher conferences will be on Oct. 21 in the CHS gym from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. Parents, please check your email for further necessary information that has been sent.

Congratulations to Lane Caselman, Layton Daugherty, Ethan Austin and Kaleb Carlson they are R.A.K.E. award winners. They were identified doing the following - Ethan Austin - We had some trouble with our glass lab. It all broke. Ethan volunteered his time to try to figure out which broken pieces went together for all eight student's projects. Lane Caselman and Layton Daugherty - These two boys stayed past the bell and put up all the chairs the rest of the students didn't put up. Kaleb Carlson - helped a teacher carry new art supplies to the classroom
