Congratulations to Skyler Powers and Lacey Terril, they are the R.A.K.E. Award winners for today. They were identified doing the following -
Skyler Powers - A student dropped pencils in the lunchroom and they went everywhere. Skyler jumped right up and started to help the girl pick them up.
Lacey Terril - after helping me pick up a few things in my room Lacey took it upon herself to find a broom and dustpan to clean up behind the items we had moved.

District baseball will try to play today at Raytown for the district title vs. Oak Grove at 5:00 p.m. Bus leaves at 1:30 p.m. Gates to the facility will open at 4:00 p.m. All digital tickets purchased for this game will be good for any rain date in the future if the game gets rained out, so keep your tickets.
It appears a pot of gold may be at girls district soccer. After a 45 minute rain delay, the games have started back up. Chillicothe will play at about 8:00 p.m. vs Savannah in district semifinal action.

For baseball fans going to district baseball in Raytown the following address is close to the baseball field-
Raytown Central Middle School, 10601 E 59th St, Raytown, MO 64133
This appears to be the closest parking lot to the field. The baseball field for reference is just to the northeast of the high school address also.
The CHS district baseball game rescheduled for today vs. Odessa has been moved to Raytown High School's turf field at 5 p.m.
CHS Baseball Fans - Masks are required at Odessa and for all activities in Lafayette County if you are going to the district baseball game.
The baseball game at Odessa has been moved back to a 4:30 p.m. start time instead of 4:00 p.m. to allow for a little more drying time in the outfield where turf is not present.
If you have family from afar or family that may not be attending tonight's indoor graduation ceremony at Chillicothe High School for the Class of 2021, the event will also be live-streamed on-line at the following site-

Chillicothe High School graduation for the Class of 2021 this evening will be indoors at 8:00 p.m. due to the current weather and the unpredictability and higher chance of pop up thunderstorms in the forecast for this evening. Doors to Chillicothe High School will open at 6:30 p.m. If you would like to watch in a more socially distanced venue, the event will be live-streamed in the PAC.
Baseball at Odessa has been delayed until 1 PM to avoid the rain this morning.

The gates to the stadium or the doors to Chillicothe High School will open at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday for the 8:00 p.m. ceremony.
Tickets for the postseason baseball game tomorrow at Odessa at 11 a.m. vs Richmond have to be purchased online according to Odessa. You may purchase them in advance at the following site-
