Girls basketball tonight at Maryville has been postponed to February 25th. We will play a varsity girls and boys doubleheader that night at Maryville.

School is cancelled at Chillicothe High School and the entire Chillicothe R-II School District due to hazardous road conditions and wind chill advisory for tomorrow, Tuesday, February 9. CHS will implement an AMI day. Students should review the attached document in their email and go over student expectations for an AMI day. Students should check Google Classroom for each course they are in at 8:30 a.m. for your assignments. If you have questions, please email your teacher. Teachers will be available to answer any questions from 9-10:30 a.m. that you may have over the coursework.

It is Super Bowl spirit week at Chillicothe High School. We begin tomorrow with Mahomes Monday, wear any Mahomes/Chiefs gear or a headband.


Congratulations to head wrestling coach Chad Smith, with his multiple victories last night in the Macon triangular in wrestling he now officially holds the most career wins with 138 as a coach for Chillicothe.


Members of the Lady Hornets varsity softball team were recently recognized as Academic All-State athletes. Most schools have just a couple athletes from a team meet the requirement of having a 3.7 or higher gpa, but CHS softball has twelve! Congratulations ladies, that is unheard of!


Congratulations to boys basketball head coach Tim Cool on earning 500 career wins!
