Congratulations to the Marching Hornets for a 2nd place win at Cameron Marchfest! The indoor drumline earned 4th place, the indoor flag corps earned 3rd place, and the flags also earned Most Outstanding Auxiliary in the parade. Great job Marching Hornets!

Parent-teacher conferences will be held on October 26 from 1:00-7:00 p.m. in the CHS gym. Parents should feel free to stop by and visit with their son or daughter's Advisory teacher, pick up their report card and EOC or MAP testing results from last year. Parents will also have the opportunity to talk to any other teachers they may wish to talk to on their son or daughter's schedule. School will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m. on October 26. School is not in session on October 27.

They were identified as doing the following; Gwen Fitzpatrick - Picked up someone's credit card and returned it to the Supt. Office for them to return to the owner. Congratulations to state medalists Isabella Garr and Rylee Washburn, they finished 4th in girls' tennis doubles at the state tournament. They are only the third girls' doubles pair to ever qualify for the MSHSAA Final Four. The last pair to accomplish this feat was Coach Lily Pyrtle and Jaimie Baker in 2008, and before that, Katie Stephens and Emily Robinson in 1996.

Congratulations to Lexi Lybarger, Selena Dollins, and Lillian Kitchin, they are R.A.K.E. award winners. They were identified as doing the following; Lexi Lybarger - We had a guest speaker in our classroom and Lexi was super friendly and helpful to her. She is a servant leader in every way! Thank you! Selena Dollins and Lillian Kitchin-Selena and Lillian volunteered to help with custodial work to keep our classroom clean. This was very helpful since we are short a custodian at CELC. Thank you! If you happen to see them, please congratulate them for showing high character while attending CHS as a student.
