
Congratulations to Skyler Dye, Alayia Etheridge, Halie Gault, Jkya White, James Griffin, Trent Jacobs, Sadie Midgyett, Keonnia Morgan, Gabby Wigchert, and Jessica Reeter they are the R.A.K.E. award winners for the past few school days. They were identified doing the following;
Skyler, Alayia, and Halie were identified volunteering to finish changing out the trash cans in a teacher's room.
Jkya was identified enthusiastically welcoming a new student to an Advisory class. Jkya invited this student to sit next to her and chatted (quietly) with the student during that time to help the student feel less nervous and welcome at CHS.
Trent and James went out of their way to help a student that needed a little help on the band trip in Chicago. They were always helping the student on and off the charter buses. This was quite a selfless act.
Sadie and Keona picked up trash around the stadium that was left on the ground without being asked or told to do so.
Jessica volunteered to help at the track meet we hosted without being asked to do so.
Gabby turned in a cell phone and airpods she found in the bathroom.
Congratulations to all of these students for showing Random Acts of Kindness Everywhere, R.A.K.E.'s.

Boys golf at Savannah at 4:00 pm will be played today, bus leaves at 1:45 pm, class release at 1:35 pm.
Baseball rescheduled for today at home vs. Richmond is once again postponed due to rain and wet conditions.
Boys tennis at the Cameron Tournament was canceled for today.

Don't miss the CHS Players production of Mamma Mia this weekend; dozens of extremely talented kids are performing! This is Mrs. Rule's 30th production at CHS and, like all of the other shows, is top notch! Tickets are being sold in the CHS office or in the PAC foyer before each show.


Reminder: Senior Moms' planning meeting this evening, Thursday, March 24th from 5:30-6:00 p.m. in the high school library. Sign-up sheets will be available for those willing to help and monetary contributions will also be accepted.

Boys tennis at home vs. Carrollton has been rescheduled for April 20 at 4:00 pm.
Baseball at home vs. Richmond has been rescheduled for March 30 at 4:30 pm.
The home track meet for today has been postponed and will be rescheduled for Friday, March 25 at 4:00 pm.
Boys golf at Cameron is still on for this evening and a decision will be made this afternoon.

The Chillicothe High School baseball games for this evening with Savanah at Shaffer Park have been postponed, girls soccer at Sedalia Smith Cotton is still scheduled to be played on turf at Sedalia this evening.

Reminder! There will be a senior moms' planning meeting for the Senior Breakfast on Wednesday, March 16th from 5:30-6:00 in the high school library. The Senior Breakfast is a CHS tradition sponsored by the Senior Moms and will be held Friday, May 6th, at the United Methodist Church Christian Life Center.

Lyla and Josie volunteered their Saturday to help the MEC Fine Arts Festival art judges mark and tag the work with ribbons during the MEC Arts Conference.
Maria helped a teacher put up the chairs in the classroom without being asked. The teacher appreciated her help!
