The Chillicothe School District is pleased to announce the successful closure on the sale of Field School this (Monday) morning. The property was sold for a purchase price of $110,000 to Henry and Amy Rupert.
This sale marks a significant milestone for the District, as it now has no properties for sale. The decision to sell Field School, at 1100 Oak Street, aligns with the District's ongoing commitment to optimizing resources and focusing on the needs of its students and community.
Clint Williams, Board President, signed the paperwork this morning, finalizing the sale. Superintendent Dr. Dan Wiebers expressed gratitude to the community for their support throughout the process. "We are excited about this new chapter for Field School and are confident that Henry and Amy Rupert will bring new life to the property," said Wiebers. "This sale allows us to concentrate our efforts on enhancing educational opportunities for our students."
The District looks forward to continuing its mission of providing the best educational environment for the best students in the state. For more information about the Chillicothe School District and its initiatives, please visit our website at www.chillicotheschools.org
