Just a friendly reminder that Friday, May 21st is the last day of school in the Chillicothe R-II School District. Students will be dismissed early at the following times: CES: 12:15 PM; Field: 12:20 PM; Dewey: 12:20 PM; CMS: 11:55 PM; CHS: 12:05 PM.

Chillicothe High School graduation for the Class of 2021 this evening will be indoors at 8:00 pm due to the current weather and the unpredictability and higher chance of pop up thunderstorms in the forecast for the evening. Doors to Chillicothe High School will open at 6:30 pm. If you would like to watch in a more socially distanced venue, the event will be live-streamed in the PAC.

Just a friendly reminder to our parents and staff that the District's mask mandate is still in effect in our facilities. The mandate significantly reduces the number of students who need to be quarentined if they are within six feet of a Covid-19 positive individual. With all of the excitement of spring activities, we hope that as many students as possible can participate in these events without being quarantined. We are thankful for the cooperation of our employees and students who have obeyed the mandate all school year.

We'd like to give a shout out to Mrs. Barnes' Leadership Class, who surprised Central Office staff today with decorations to convert the office Christmas Tree into an Easter Gnome Tree. The tree has remained up because space at the temporary R-II Administrative Office is limited.
Just a friendly reminder that there will be no classes on Monday, March 15th, due to a planned Professional Development Day for Chillicothe R-II Staff.
Reminder: All Chillicothe R-II families with incoming kindergarten students in the Fall of 2021, the Chillicothe Elementary school will hold kindergarten screenings on Tuesday, March 2nd through Friday, March 5th from 9:00am-2:00pm.
