Due to the Memorial Day holiday, the Chillicothe R-II meal program will serve the following meals on Wednesday, May 20: 5-20, 5-21, 5-22, 5-25, and 5-26. Normal meal delivery will resume on May 27.

The Chillicothe R-II District would like to thank all of the volunteers who have served meals to our students during our school shutdown. After one week, we are currently serving 400+ students a day, with two meals. That is right...800+ meals a day. Thanks Volunteers!

The content of tonight's (3/17) Chillicothe R-II Board of Education meeting will be in closed session. This will allow the district to meet the CDC recommendation of only 10 people at a gathering. Open session content will be delivered in an alternate format at a later date.

The Chillicothe R-II School District is excited to announce that it has received a $10,000 grant from Donaldson Co., of Chillicothe which will help students expand their knowledge in the areas of science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics.
On April 7, 2020, Chillicothe R-II patrons will consider an increase to the District’s operating levy. In an effort to educate voters about the levy issue, the Chillicothe Board of Education has planned two public forums which will be held on the following dates:
Wednesday, March 18th, 7 p.m. - Chillicothe High School Library
Monday, March 30th, 6 p.m. - Livingston County Library CourtRoom.
During the forums, R-II Superintendent Dan Wiebers will give a short presentation about the issue and then members of the Board of Education and Dan Wiebers will field any questions from those in attendance.
“We are hoping for a good turnout,” Superintendent Dan Wiebers said. He added, “These programs are designed to give everyone an opportunity to learn more about the issue so they can go to the polls in April and make an informed decision.”
